How to: Allow access to an VBR environment

Anycloud BaaS for Veeam can remote logon to a tenant Veeam Backup environment and assist in case of a support ticket. This can only happen if the tenant active a feature and give a username and password.

The connection happening is through the same secure SSL connection that is used when doing backup and/or replication to Anycloud BaaS for Veeam.

To activate. Please edit the service provider connect to Anycloud BaaS for Veeam and check the “Allow this Veeam Backup & Replication to be managed by the service provider”.

After a completed support case, we advise that you remove this feature again, unless you are using it to integrate into the Anycloud BaaS for Veeam console (VAC).

Please note that no connection can be established without allowed access and credentials is handed to Anycloud BaaS for Veeam
