How to: Manage VMs within DRaaS
Challenge
Low space or 0% available space left on DR Cloud Host. Data needs to be deleted from the Cloud host or additional space can be allocated by Anycloud DRaaS for Veeam
Cause
Due to privacy, data can only be viewed and managed from customers own Veeam Backup & Replication Console.
Solution
It is possible to get an oveview of virtual machines within the Anycloud DRaaS for Veeam cloud host and learn what is consuming space.
1. Browse to the Home view
2. Click on Replicas – sort by type “Cloud"
3. Double-click a VM to view all the restore-point available on the cloud host. This will also display the amount of space consumed
4. Right-click and select “Delete from disk”
Important - Please note: This deletes the VM within Anycloud DRaaS for Veeam and the VM needs to be replicated again
If a VM is consuming to much space, lower the amount of restore points within the responsible replication-job.
To have more space on the Cloud host allocated please reach out to us.
