Understand: Dates in Usage reports

When reviewing usage reports within Microsoft Entra ID, it’s important to note that the date and time displayed do not necessarily correspond to the exact moment a backup job was executed.

Usage reports are generated on a daily basis as part of routine data collection and are not directly tied to the timing of individual backup operations. As a result, there may be a delay between when an action occurs and when it is reflected in the report. Microsoft’s reporting infrastructure may occasionally lag by several days, so the timestamps shown serve primarily as reference points rather than exact indicators of when the data was captured.
